These terms govern your use of citykits.com. They're short by legal standards and honest by any standard. Using this site means you accept them.

CityKits ("we," "us," "our") operates this website to describe the CityKits platform and the network of local portals it powers. These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and CityKits about your use of citykits.com, its pages, its content and the contact channels it offers. If you don't agree with something here, the remedy is simple and immediate: stop using the site.
Using This Site
You're welcome to browse, read, share links to and quote reasonably from this site. In exchange, you agree not to misuse it. Misuse includes, without limitation:
- Attempting to probe, breach or test the security of the site or its hosting.
- Scraping the site at volumes that burden it, or harvesting content to republish as your own.
- Using the site or our contact channels to send spam, malware or unlawful content.
- Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation when you write to us.

We may restrict or refuse access to anyone who abuses the site, and we'd rather never have to.
Our Names, Marks and Content
The CityKits name, the CityKits wordmark, the modular block mark, the phrase "Powered by CityKits," the tagline "We Power Local." and the portal names referenced on this site are brand assets of CityKits or its partners. The design, text, graphics and code of this site are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You get a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to view this site for personal and business evaluation purposes. That license doesn't include the right to reproduce our branding, imitate the site's design for a competing service or use our marks in a way that suggests endorsement we haven't given. If you want to use a CityKits mark properly, ask us. We're approachable about it.
Ideas and Feedback You Send
We genuinely want your notes about your city or county. Understand that by sending ideas, suggestions or feedback about the platform, you grant us permission to use them without restriction or compensation. Don't send anything you consider confidential or proprietary. This clause exists because two people often have the same good idea independently, and we can't run a product roadmap under a cloud of implied ownership claims.
Third-Party Services and Links
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, offers optional translation through Google Translate and displays photography served by Unsplash. It also links to other websites, including portals in the CityKits network. Those services and sites belong to their operators, run under their own terms and policies, and we aren't responsible for their content or conduct. A link from us is a convenience, not an endorsement of everything at the other end.
No Warranties
This site is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate, fast and secure, and we don't promise perfection. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Content on this site describes plans and products that evolve; it isn't a contractual commitment that any feature, portal or timeline will exist in a particular form.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CityKits and its owners, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this site. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability for all claims related to this site is limited to one hundred dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
If your misuse of this site causes a third party to bring a claim against us, you agree to defend and hold us harmless from the reasonable costs, damages and fees, including attorney fees, that result from it.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or this site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the site and the platform grow. When we do, the effective date above changes, and material changes will be flagged plainly on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Severability and the Whole Agreement
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement, are the entire agreement between you and CityKits about this website.
